fusing Greg means very quick harvest of trees, not sitting around as a target, and your greg doesn't die very quickly, thus ensuring you can keep collecting resources when there are no monsters around.

I feel like Greg is better because if your Mavis isn't fused, it'll take you a long time to collect those 6 and 8 patches. but with Greg, 3 shots to the tree and you get good loot. Both are good fused
