Awesome! About the changing weather, unfortunately it's still rainy season. It's best to hit the beaches here from about January to the summer months. However, the upside to going at this time is that it's off-season, so you avoid the crowds. Even in Boracay, there's hardly anyone there now (as i saw in another's vlog). Plus it's also off algae-season, so the waters there are clear of algae right now. :)

I’ve found that if you get the early morning local flights in the Philippines, there will be less chance of delays. Most routes use one or two planes during the day so any delays due to weather or technical issues get compounded as the day goes on.

husband speaking - saw this last night - I was at our little Park Model Mobile Home in Blaine, Wa. about 12 miles from the Canadian boarder - partially closing the place down for winter. Still need a few more trips, the last shut off of water, turn on the radiator heaters before we leave for Cebu will have to be the 1st of Nov. So - very interesting accommodations for you this time. I think I would have to take the hotel room - just an age thing.

We thought the shared bathrooms would be an issue but it actually worked out well. We all adapted :) We understand locking everything up for winter weather. Having a home in Denver, we have to go through the same process when we take trips in the winter just in case there’s a freeze.
