it can feel very overwhelming to do this for sure. Disney is definitely a place where you have automatic common ground with the other guest there. You already 100% know they must enjoy something about Disneyland....... So ask people you met about that. " Hey are you excited to be at the park today? What are you most looking forward to experiencing?" One of the BIG secrets about talking to random strangers, is try NOT to talk about yourself so much, but ask THEM questions about themselves. Get the people you meet to talk about themselves. Everyones favorite subject is themselves, and we all wish more people would be interested to hear about what we think and feel, and what matters the most to us. So basically, try to ask questions to find out "What is important to this person, what makes them excited about being alive? " Figure out peoples passions and get them to talk about those things. You'll find doing this will make people really connect with you and want to keep talking with you. People get the most bored in conversations when they feel they have nothing to offer to the conversation. So talk and bring up your own interests and feelings about how they connect to the other persons feelings, but always make sure to bring the conversation back around to them getting to express their own feelings. Very important. The other person will leave that conversation feeling very appreciated and listened to, and will think YOU are awesome because you actually took the time to take interest in them. THIS is the secret to good connections in conversation. If you can talk about star wars.... even better! :)

When I rode opening day at Hollywood Studios I had on my Sith robes and one of the First Order officers in the hangar room actually motioned politely for me to head down the hallway to the detention cell instead of harshly directing me like he did all the others. Another actually called out "Your ancient religion is no match for the might of the First Order" while we were waiting to walk into the cell. It was so awesome how much everyone gets into character in Galaxy's Edge and especially on Rise of Resistance.

@@AlwaysBelieve Well, we didn't ride it before this trip, so I'm not sure if there was anything different. HOWEVER, the First Order is apparently VERY CAUTIOUS about cleanliness as there were hand sanitizing stations ALL OVER their ship!!!! We were so lucky to have gotten into the studios 4 days and we snagged a boarding group each time! The 2nd time the ride broke just prior to interrogation - we were stuck in the hallway for close to AN HOUR! First Order didn't stop for a second - they stayed in absolute character the entire time - it was AMAZING!!! SO exciting & my kid self from 1977 completely lost it!!!!

We got 32 and we went on 2/2/2020 Super Bowl Sunday thinking most people would be home for the game, WE WERE WRONG. 3 weeks after opening, the line was EXACTLY LIKE THIS, all the way to DCA 1 hour before opening. It was an amazing scene watching screams and euphoria of everyone around u shouting out their boarding numbers. I’ll never forget it

Congratulations on completing your mission on Rise of the Resistance. We rode on it on Sunday for the first time we can't wait to share our thoughts on the attraction. Also, we want to thank you for inspiring us to play Star Wars at Galaxy's Edge and creating our own character. On that same day, after we got our boarding pass, we got recruited by Vi Moradi to go on a mission with her to gather intel from the First Order. I feel the moment you are in the line wait IS the ride it’s creates a feeling and loading bay is honestly amazing. When we were waiting after the hanger a kid was honestly scared and kept asking if he did something wrong and if everyone would be okay. Anyways just amazing... Being in line with people waiting for Star Wars is something I miss. I remember before being able to order movie tickets online, when you had to stand in line early in the morning in hopes to get tickets for premieres. I met a lot of people and made some friends in those lines. And Star Wars fans remind me a lot of Metal fans. Like with Star Wars events, I can go to a Metal concert and meet new people/make new friends waiting in line or for the next band to set up. Everyone in both communities is so cool and friendly.

Always Believe Your outfits are always fabulous and on point, I’ve tried to take some inspiration from them on a day to day basis as well. Today I wore an orange sweater and white vest and bam, I feel like a rebel pilot! I’m considering buying my first pair of pozu boots as well thanks to you guys. I’m a big fan of outfits that don’t just scream in your face “STAR WARS” or “HARRY POTTER” but I love having a nerdy side to my day to day wardrobe, so this type of Batuu accessories and outfits are great. @24:45 Interesting, in another video of this ride it showed the group being raised in FRONT of the Imperial Walkers so it was aiming and the cannons directly at the audience. I guess the angles vary.

One thing I do not understand is why there is no "laser tag " experience at Galaxy's Edge. I mean, STAR WARS, the franchise that actually inspired that tech, has nothing like it on it's parks. I understand the "no guns" discourse, but in the park that is mostly "buy merchandise" it could be something else to do with kids or friends. And it could be like First Order training course for new recruits, or a droid shooting range for target practice (Jyn Erso would approve). Ever since the first scene in Star Wars where stromtroopers break in the Tantive IV and start shooting rebels it has been every SW fan dream to have a blaster and join the fight, and Galaxy's Edge should be the place to do it.
