Shout out to Cappy and everyone at Always in Stitches. I'm Karen from Florida (former Hoosier) who was in the store last Saturday with my lifelong friend Nancy from Fishers. Too bad I have a conflict on Nov 15 ad 16 or I would be first in line to sign up for the fun retreat. I love the shop and am enjoying sewing, english paper piecing and slow stitching with the various fabrics and kits I have purchased. Everyone there is always so helpful and kind. Your retreat sounds like fun. What is the hexagon pattern on the shelf? Wow didn’t realize that you had so many notions. The pattern tour is a fantastic idea.

That is a rescue quilt. We have many in the shop. Customers bring quilts they don't want and leave them with us. We hang them in our classrooms. Occaisionally we sell them with all the proceeds donated to Quilts of Valor.
