I did this with my 5-year-old daughter and called it a Perfect Fall Day party. We switched out the make up and scrub for making an apple pie and watching Great Pumpkin on Charlie Brown, but we did the picnic, a tree themed craft, the scavenger hunt, the special drink and had a very special day. I like to go on a Gratitude Nature Walk. It's when I take a walk around town to admire the natural beauty of where I live. It could be visiting one of the three parks, or even taking a walk by the river at night to look for spiders. - Okay, the spider walks, as I call them, are more of a summer activity, but I can take a Gratitude Nature Walk pretty much any time of the year.

Your woods are lovely. I have a spot like this near my Oregon USA home, and in April it just EXPLODES with trilliums. They are everywhere you look. They are a native plant in my area, with three pure white petals that darken to purple as they age over about a week, and then they are gone for another year. Autumn is still my favorite time of year, though.

Hi Alwyn is me or do we learn most from our Grandparents. As I love cooking my grandmother always taught me true English classics , fairy cakes , scones and most importantly the jam for your scones please spend as much time with your family as you can once covid is safe . Do you have a video on jams ? My Grandmothers recipe a 1lb of fruit to a 1lb of sugar table spoon of lemon juice to preserve leave to set best ever if you know this recipe with home made scones a true family love spell show your friends and family you love them . The picnic video was Great but where was the Alwyn oak family jam haha I know keep it secret xx
