People hear me out: the Shiseido lash curler + Etude House lash perm curl fix mascara combo is the BEST EVER. I have very straight lashes and those two make my lashes curled for a whole day, it’s waterproof and doesn’t smudge at all. It also make them much longer and volume is buildable 👌🏻. Use a metal comb to separate them, Morphe m221 will give you a fuller look also for those who doesn´t want to spend alot of money for the lash serum-- etude lash serum is a good one too.

I didnt even know they were considered 'asian' eyelashes so I have never even tried to look it up because I didn't think anyone had eyelashes similar to mine. I remember I used to dry out my waterproof máscaras to make my lashes stay up longer. It works also but it’s clumpy and I would use the green and pink tube by maybelline to seperate them and take out clumps. Also the green tube from cover girl helps with clumps just wash and then use the brush it has.

I used to have pretty short eyelashes but then I started using babe lash (Not sponsored haha) and my lashes grew so much! If you find it difficult to make your lashes looked good with mascara, I highly recommend buying this :) its a lil pricy but sooooo worth it

Your lashes are hella long. I am so impressed!!! Keeping my lashes curled is so difficult, even with waterproof mascara. They are not created equal. Some are really bad even though they claim to be waterproof on the packaging. Maybe it's because it has to work overtime with my downward pointing lashes and monolid pushing them down even more. I wish I had better eyes for make up. 😕

YES anyone who says your lashes fall out when curling them must be pressing really hard and just pumping the curler. I have straight lashes and have found lightly pressing and holding for a logner period of time is less damaging than pumping the curler!

another tip, for the very last step, you can run the sharp part of tweezers through and clumps (carefully), i do this when i wear mascara and it helps define them alot and easily remove clumps

What eye makeup remover do you use? So far only loreal lash paradise waterproof works but as you said, it's a hassle to take off. At least right now during quarantine I use regular mascara (I do presentations for work so I do wear makeup on the daily) but if it rains then I wear waterproof just in case. But, it's a a pain to remove. I use lancome eye remover which is great but isnt affordable soooo...yeah, I need something that works but is cheaper

You look great! To separate your lashes at the end, why do you prefer to use a separate old brush , as opposed to the newer mascara brush after you have applied the round of mascara so that there's not much product anymore?

I use your same technique to curl the lashes, apply the mascara, the same exact maybelline mascara yet my lashes will not stay up for longer than 5 minutes (I swear) Right after curling it it looks pretty nice but as soon as I apply a thin layer of mascara it just droops down :( The only thing that comes up in my mind is that maybe my maybelline mascara is still too wet (although I have been using for a while) Anyone knows way to dry out mascara faster? lol

Have you tried the PMel Mascara base or Etude House Dr. Mascara Fixer!! Those are amazing to keep your lashes staying up!! I definitely recommend that.

I always make sure to get the WATERPROOF version of any mascara if I want my straight Asian lashes to hold. I've noticed she uses the maybelline rocket and loreal lash paradise, those both come in waterproof versions. The waterproof one is drier, which is why it won't weigh the lashes down after curling.

Try applying your mascara backwards! Start at the tips, wait for it to dry, then the midlength, wait for it to try again, then your roots. I got lashes like yours where they droop after curling and apply mascara but I find if I work backwards it helps keeps my lashes up!

Hey girl! I used to have this problem too until I used a lash primer - Etude House Dr. Mascara Fixer, before I put on mascara and it stays curled for majority of the day (it falls a little towards the end of the day, but still pretty curled)! Heat ur lash curler for a few minutes before you curl too. You can check out Haley Kim's lash routine (on top of this video), I'm sure it'll help!
