Hi, when you connect two HDDs to PC via USB , the PC see both of them at the same time and you can transfer files between them?

I am wanting to clone a 320gb ssd to a 250gb hdd. Will this do that? There is enough free space on the 250gb for the full contents of the 320gb ssd.

I'm sure you mean go from the smaller 250gb to the larger 320gb drive. Most of these docks will let you clone that way, but the full space won't be accessible until you go into your OS and extend the drive to the full 320gb. Another option you can do is use software to image your old drive and restore that onto a new drive. I've used Macrium Reflect to do this to great effect.
