Am excited to have found your channel. I just ordered a few books before I saw your channel today… but it’s so tricky half the time with lack of pictures in Amazon for most books. I happen to have purchased this as it had good descriptions on the amazon site ( I love Kew Royal Botanical Gardens material but never indulged in a trip to London, or the books). This is my first Kew purchase… so excited to peek into the book through your video. I’m a nerdy learning geek as you suggested, so I love love it… plus totally agree that it helps us see so much form with clarity that we simply cant get from casual photography. You have just confirmed I made a great buying decision! The botanical book is an early birthday present to myself ( June baby ). Now I am going to watch all your reviews and of course your art vids.

If your children enjoy playing in the Botanical Gardens, take the book and play a game of finding the book’s plants in the garden. I’ve ordered this book and know exactly where to go in our Botanical Gardens to find many plants on those pages.

I have the pocket version of this and one of its sister books. They are beautiful, and the illustrations are lovely, and large or small they are very affordable.

Hi, there are two or three of them. The other one I like is Animalium, but there is one on dinosaurs, nice for children, and I forget the other, it did not interest me. I have to spend a lot of time in bed so I bought the little ones, but those big books are quite gorgeous.

Peanut grow under the soil, another name for them is ‘groundnuts’.

Yes! Research peanuts or grow some yourself. They are so interesting. They start above ground like a fruit would but then they dive underground to develop. They kinda remind me of cyclamen the way the seed pod dives downward after the flower is finished. Plants are soo interesting!

Does it have any evolution theory or just documentation of observation? I don't want theory just a good book of the observed world. I do some evolution use but seems they are talking hierarchy not so much evolution they just poorly chose the use of language.
