The ode to the surgeon made me break down. She captured what it feels like to rip out love from yourself so fucking good. My heart aches.

The first video I ever saw of Alyssia was 'That Girl'. and from time to time I've watched or read more of her poetry. But when I finally heard 'This Woman'. Her growth, and how closely i can understand these feelings, and the joy of listening and realising, how there is a person out there, that could understand to put into words, this feeling, this journey. I can only say thank you for being you.

This poem still hits me to this day i have been that girl for such a long time and still working to become this woman. She took her time and had become so beautiful in her growth and i can not wait to get there myself.

She's just bitter. Chicks are just as crafty as men are.

Alysia Harris can you guys come to Phoenix, AZ and just make my life?! You're everything!!

She's not bitter she's an adult. Any poet whose been performing since their youth as she has is destined to evolve and become more profound. I know because I myself do poetry as well. And btw she's tired of doing "That Girl" on every show hence the end of number 1.
@shawnmushoriwa58639 жыл бұрын
An adult? Adults are more likely to carry long term emotional baggage (thus becoming bitter) than young children are.
@RomeoBarnes9 жыл бұрын
Shawn Mushoriwa you sir clearly have no understanding of what I takes to create art giving yourself to your medium, whatever that medium may be, is the most painful and freeing things you do in life. Please take your ignorance elsewhere.
