@@claudeakel Why do they being different matter? '08 and '09 are frequently regarded as some of the worse WWE games for all the features and characters they removed and the unfun ability system. At least the 2k games retain the improvements of their predessors.

@Badass Batman Let's compare 08 to 2k19 -1 More modes. 2k19 has Universe Mode, Career Mode, Towers Mode, Showcase, far more extensive customization (wreslter, belt, briefcase, arena etc). 08 doesn't even let you play career mode and GM Mode at the same time. It also doesn't have any more modes -2 Better gameplay. 08 restricts player customization by its very limited Ability System. If you're not a high flyer, you get no flippy moves even if the wreslter in question can do moonsaults and other high flying stuff like Shawn Micheals. 2k19 gives a more rounded experience, has way more abilities that don't restrict your options and lets you fine tune what you want
