As one of the 15 people I totally agree with your feelings on the two autos on the card.

I don't mind the autographs on cards that have facsimile signatures depending on the autograph placement. (also, it's not OCD, its just obsessive).

Yes, keep educating people Allon, I think it's important that they understand the difference.

Love autographed cards, I think I'm onside with you...mainly due to the "busyness" of them...the 58 looks fantastic...cheers

To be perfectly honest, my toxic snob trait is that I don't usually like old timer autos signed on vintage cards in Sharpie. However, this Killebrew of yours is very nice and definitely an exception. The blue looks nice with the yellow background and he has a great signature.

Viewer #14 🙋🏻♂️🙃 I’m a closet snob. I find cards that are easily attainable do nothing for me. In turn I look for a tough angle in that card in order to collect them. It’s sad but maybe it’s because the chase feels better when it’s challenging. It makes the pickup a little more meaningful for me lol 🤷🏻♂️ #TotalSnobbery👉🏼🙋🏻♂️

@@elitehunters732 James I'm more similar to you than you think. I am almost burned out on seeing the easy to obtain and often seen vintage. It's not just the challenge of obtaining but often the story that comes with the rarity and obscurity that compells me. Sounds like a good topic for a video!

Killebrew did have great penmanship. You are right about that. I like that about the vintage players. They took their signature seriously. I wouldn't have felt cheated as a fan.

You're not a snob. It's good to have personal collecting guidelines.

I wouldnt mind it because if I had an autograph rookie card with a facsimile I would not turn it away😂😂😂but I see your point. It does look cluttered at times and what would bother me it the fake auto not matching the real one…..Clemente’s facsimile is no where near his real one….great to see you back

A couple of things. I think his autograph was beautiful. That being said, my OCD doesn't have an issue with the facsimile auto and real auto as long as the real auto is clear. I would have a problem with the stain on the front of this card, but not enough to prevent buying it. Great card.

I definitely think autographs can totally ruin a good looking card but it can also make the card so much cooler at the same time 😂😂. For me I have no exact system in my brain other than I like ball point pen autos on my vintage cards since it discracts from the card less, and sharpies on my modern 😊 go figure ha ha

Great topic. First off I was fully prepared to call you a snob as a joke until you got to the point of where your snobery was rooted. I FULLY agree, signed cards over facsimile autographs are anathema for me. For the most part I don't own ANY unless they were given to me and I have thousands of autographs. I suppose I do have the Rickey rookie that I got done in person so mabye I'm a hypocrite too. One thing that lots of collectors are ga ga over that I just don't get and have no interest in perusing is 'game used' memorabilia cards. Even the ones containing a swatch actually used in a game. Seems like a waste. I do have a few cool ones that I won or were given to me but I can't imagine a scenario where I would chase one. Anyway, not totally what you were asking but I wanted to vent it out anyway. PS you have some mail from me when you make it back home.

i dont like autos on cards that were not issued that way. i am also not much of an auto fan at all. so i guess im a super snob! haha

I don’t think your opinion is snobbish, it’s just a preference. Snobbish is thinking one’s collection or collecting is better than someone else’s.

I have the same dislike. But then I’m not much of an auto collector. But I’ve always avoided a real auto with a facsimile. I’m sure I probably have a few but I avoid them.
