5:43 All stray kids' mvs are open for interpretation on their own, but most of them can be included in the big storyline, and it's a very complicated one with a multiverse involved and all (WELCOME TO THE STRAY KIDS HOT MEGAVERSE y'all). But if you want to understand the mv fo 'Maniac' meaning wise, this is about releasing your true self that you've been hiding because of society norms. The message is basically "be yourself", even if it makes you look like a maniac, embrace it, be like one. Some elements of related interpretation (by me) in the mv would be : (warning: it is long) 1:31 - the parallele between a normal town and the upside down one= the parallele between the person and attitude that you show to the world to seem "normal" and your deeper, true self that is more chaotic, darker and would make you seem like a maniac. This is also why the stray kids members are on the roof during the second chorus in my opinion. They're in their maniac world, the one upside down. 2:10 - Everybody in the train looks neat and indifferent, with a neutral facial expression, and is quiet, whereas Han is dressed kind of oddly with colors and interesting shapes and materials. He also has a very expressive face: he steps out of the mold to express his true self. It then looks like the seen changes to show his point of view, the maniac side, with nobody else except the skz members who also accept themselves like he does, and they do whatever they want in the train. There are also lots of moving drawings and writing in the air (I don't know how to call it) in the mv that refer to the monster theme. The whole mv has a Frankeinstein's monster concept, as well as the dance, hence the use of the screwdriver. 3:02 - This bird is your true and free self being released of its cage. As soon as it's released, Felix breaks the glass wall that separate their maniac selves with the rest of the world -- aka the fourth wall, to show us their maniac side. Also, the mv often turns from day time to night time for this transition, and it's like what is shown in all daylight and what's hidden in the darkness of the night/inside of you (the night is also a time when everybody's asleep and nobody's there to judge you). 3:24 - The birds are flying freely, it's the maniac world. 3:42 - I.N talks about "when the Locket is open", and the pressure of fitting others standards is not there, your 'weird', or genuine, sides or thoughts come out, like in the mv. By the way, hi Lee Know (lurking through the window on the far right)!. On the contrary, the other I.Ns coming out of him when it happens may also be the masks he had put on until then, like ghosts haunting/manipulating him. His true self relieves itself of their presence when he takes them off. I am not sure of which way to go with my interpretation for that one, both are fine in my eyes. 3:45 - We're going into Minho (Lee Know)'s head, and we see his brain is tagged (marks of his odd thoughts) 3:49 - They're inside the brain now, and the lyrics deal with the situation when you're barely holding on while refraining your unique self, and that the barrier might explose anytime, and the feelings erupt/re-surface , LIKE A VOLCANO (love at a temparature that can melt when touched 🎶 sorry, I got sidetracked). Also, I like the floating fires (I have no idea of how to call them, but my translator says "wisps"), it looks like a Thunderous reference. 6:10 - Then they're back to normal, acting peacfully after being maniacs for a while. The bird is calm and back in the cage. Sooo it was all about trying to normalize being odd I think, making it ODDinary (the album title), and not ordinary anymore. Also, Stray kids themselves and their music are oddinary, out of the norms, being their unique selves.

Omg stray kids in leather pants... watch venom and scars for that. They all have some thighs, most people notice lee knows, changbins, and hyunjins. Chan definitely has some cake and so does han, hyunjin does too and he has a very small waist. Hyunjin is my bias but all their thirst traps would kill you. Hyunjin tends to stay mostly covered, the most he does is show his sexy arms and wears sheer shirts like in red lights or ripped jeans. Every so often his shirts have cutouts like in performances like Wolfgang ot8.

11:54 Yesss the song with the "dada daradara dada" chorus and the "stabbing" hand movement. By the way, the hand movement is more like recreating a sparkling star next to them. It's made to look like they're shining. 12:36 He's Seungmin! An AMAZING vocalist with an addictive voice. He recently started his own little show where he talks a bit about himself, his feelings, thoughts or other things like a mini interview with himself, then he covers a song which he arranged himself too. It is called 'Song by'. He dances well (like all the stray kids members), and is jokingly secretly a rapper (he can rap tho, he covered the rapline's rapping parts a few times and nailed the fast ones). STAYs often refers to him as a puppy because he kinda looks like one and his representative character (like a plushie) is a puppy.

But just so you’re aware not all of what you think are CGI is cgi for example the fire all around them is fire, there’s obvious things that are cgi like the octopus the blue lights etc. but the guy that directs, their videos where possible sticks to the real thing. His name is Bang Jae Yeob and in my opinion he’s a genius where SKZ is concerned. If you want to see how they’re made watch some of their Behind the scenes they’re great.

KZbin brought me here because of stray kids, and now I live here! OMG! Your reaction was freaking gold! Facts? The names you mostly know, which is awesome. They're a self-produced group, they write, compose, arrange, and produce their own music. The producers are mainly Chan, Changbin, and Han. Chan has around 190 credited songs, and Changbin and Han have around 150 credited songs each. They write to other artists as well. BUT, all of the members participated in writing a lot of them. Red Lights was written by Hyunjin (I believe entirely, STAYs correct me if I'm wrong. That's what Chan said. I usually check) and produced by Chan :P They are a super close family! So freaking chaotic and funny! AND, The Maknae is on top! (They have a really cute and funny song with a funny MV called Maknae On Top) Please react to more STRAY KIDS!!! Music, Funny moments, whatever! They are the embodiment of chaos and we love it!!!
