Am I an introvert or a hermit, because love being alone? Winter days in the country
Spending time alone can be a conscious choice and a way to recharge batteries. Some of us love spending time alone and even need alone-time to feel well. The matter is completely different if being alone is not your own choice.
Sometimes I forget to keep in touch with my friends and, especially when life gets busy, I prefer relaxing on my own. Despite all this, I don't want to be labeled an introvert and I wouldn't call myself a hermit, either. When the timing is right, spending time with others can be wonderful. Sometimes I even feel there would be space for new friends in my life.
