If you pause the video when you hold both Battle of Hastings 50ps, you can do the auto-stereogram magic eye thing to see the differences (this also is a good way of solving the find the differences games in newspapers)...and I can tell you that the 50ps are identical.

That’s 2 different questions!! Am I crazy? All coin collectors are a little bit 😂 Is this 50p different? I think it’s been worn and aged to appear slightly different but other than that I think it’s normal. 😊 Great stuff Christopher 👍🏻

I'm from the US so I don't know much about this currency but I'm learning a lot from watching your videos. I don't know how proof coins are done there if you even have such coins but in the US proof coins have the the dies polished to a mirror finish and then stamped on the planchet which then gives the coin that same mirror finish and they are considered as NIFCs. That is what it looks like to me.

Take a look at the front tip of the crown, clearly almost touching the letter E. The other has a gap.

i am SOOOOOO anoyed... i have been looking for a kew gardens FOR YEARS , haven't found one since 2015 - today my 11year old daughter comes how FROM THE SHOP where she bought SWEETS and had a "pretty looking" 50p in her change - GUESS WHAT IT WAS !!!! she is keeping it and we have together put it somewhere safe so it cant be accidently spent.

Hi Christopher, good work with the latest book. Question for you though, I just found a 2010 shield! A great NIFC, but where can I find how many were minted? The royal mint’s circulation numbers only list Girl Guiding for 2010. Any help much appreciated!

A lot of "Diddlies" today! I think the BoH looks OK. It's probably all the muck and scuff marks around the edge inscription that makes the letters appear larger.

I have found a St. Helena & Ascension 50p coin in a terrible, unreadable state…polished it and voila’ almost back to shiny new conditions…
