Congratulations Tessie! So happy for you! It’s so refreshing to watch your videos. I too was raised in a very plain Mennonite church and home. I can so relate to you and the old ways. So many great memories of my mom and dad and growing up the fourth in our large family of 12 kids. And both sets of grandparents who had a huge influence on my life. We grew so much of our own food and canned and froze tons of food. We worked hard and all had to help work our large dairy farm. I learned to sew and make my own dresses and loved to sew for my younger brother and sisters. I am so thankful for my childhood and great memories and lessons I learned. Keep on sharing your simple frugal ways!
