Hi Matthew & Pennny... Matthew, here in NS there is a store called the Bulk Barn, when cooking/baking, you can go there and just buy the amount you need, or as less as possible. That would be ideal for you. There may be a Bulk Barn in your area. Back to your video.. have a great night. 😺

@Hhaha8885 күн бұрын
Next time, just buy granulated sugar...icing sugar aka powdered sugar, is just granulated sugar ground up, so , yes , your blender or coffee grinder can make van sized icing sugar, when you know , you know

so on my diesel heater the white smoke is diesel left over in the burn chamber. My fuel tank was mounted higher than the heater and there was siphoning effect when the pump seals were a little worn out. Moved the tank lower than the heater (or at least whrere the fuel comes out) and it stopped the issue.

Would one of the little honda 2k suitcase generators be a cost effective option for charging up in winter?? Must be better and faster than burning the vehicle fuel plus the wear and tear Understand space but it could go in the boot of the car or at a storage/parents for summer if not needed full time.

Me again. Thanks for doing this with your daughter, and great choice of shoebox gifts! A backpack, a small unbreakable mirror and a sewing kit for parents are good ideas, too. Packing into a plastic shoebox gives the child something clean to store the items in. We used to do this in school till haters complained about the religious slant to the organization. Such scrooges!

Just came to me about van sized quantities of food stuffs. Next time you have to get things like icing sugar or spices and things like that you could get exactly the amounts you want by getting them at a bulk barn type store. Some grocery store gave them too. Don’t know if you have Bulk Barn in Alberta like we have in Ontario. Just a thought.

Hi Matthew. In Alberta do you have Bulk Barn type of stores? You can get a lot of items in your choice of amounts. Just scoop what you need. Pay by the weight. But beware of the candy isles!

We have powdered sugar in bags and smaller boxes. Like you, It would take me 2 years to use an entire bag. 😂 If you only need a few cups of granulated sugar, try checking by the coffee, sometimes they sell sugar in the tube pour container like the ones you see at company coffee stations. I buy them for camping. Way easier to store. Just want to let you know how much you & Penny make me smile.❤

Just an idea for that icing sugar size annoyance. Depending on where you are at the time, instead of buying some items in "sticks and bricks" sizing, if you've got a Bulk Barn or similar type store in your area, you can get things like icing sugar, and many other food items in whatever size you'd like.

Top tip for a little sugar in a vehicle. Get some sugar sachets from a cafe. When you get coffee. Keep a few stashed. Do you have those in Canada? Some places just ask about sugar. Any hoo. That's what I do here in NZ.
