Am I Really Saved? How Do I Know?

This is dope Tony. I feel like we’ve had a conversation about this. You’re right on about receiving it by faith. I battled with this too. I believe God reassured by telling me to kind of shift my focus from “my ability” to believe for salvation to “His ability” to save me and give me life. I don’t know if it’s just the enemy, yes the enemy tries to tempt us and convince us that we aren’t good enough. But maybe God is calling those people deeper, to dig deeper in his word and in prayer so that he can show them just how much more he can do! If you have the Holy Spirit living within you the enemy would never be able to convince you that you’re not saved. For the power that you would feel within you would be undeniable. The same spirit that fell on the day of Pentecosts in acts lives today. And that promise is still for all of Gods children. Especially in the times we’re living in today. He’s raising up an army. And to do that he has to call his children into a deeper walk with him.

Glad to see you uploading! Here's some more information on the doctrine of assurance: Don't fall into the trap of placing your confidence in your own intellect. Remember, "even the demons believe... and shutter." James 2:19 It's not simply agreeing intellectually the truth that Christ died and rose from the dead, but rejoicing in this truth. The word confess in the original Greek, homologeō, means much more than only saying or knowing something. It also implies celebrating, praising, etc. Confessing in this context essentially means living your life in light of the truth. (If you live your life rejoicing that Jesus is Lord... believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." :) Remember, salvation is not a matter of the mind, but a matter of the heart. When we are born again, we don't get a new brain, but a new heart. :) The regenerated heart loves God, hates sin, desires to obey God, and rejoices in His mercies when we fail to obey. As well as if someone is ever having doubts I believe that you need to lean into remembering that just because you worry or have doubts doesn’t mean you’re not saved but they need to remind themselves that it’s a season in their life and that God will get them through it and I really do believe that helps so much just to spend more time with God. It says in Romans is it correct me if I’m wrong I probably I’m gonna look really dumb but it says if you proclaim it with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that he rose again to save us from our sins you are saved of course it is a lot deeper than that but only you and God can truly know your salvation. Of course fruits of the spirit can be a very good sign but only you and God truly know.
