Another totally nostalgic sound of my childhood in eastern Pangasinan. Yes, summer nights while on summer breaks from UP Diliman and before US Navy enlistment. Request if I may: I Left My Heart In San Francisco. One of my solo songs was when I was a soloist for our town orchestra. This was my only paid job in the Philippines, teen vocalist, for an orchestra before naval service. Singing by ear, no formal training. Just pure guts and confidence of a teenager. This is why your voice, control, and delivery are so relatable and likable to me. I am just reliving my childhood experience of having to outperform another orchestras' soloist during town fiestas in the region.
