The turbah is used by Shi'a Muslims in prayer. But could they be using the wrong ones? What happens if it breaks or someone like a child takes it away in prayer? Sheikh Mohammed Al-Hilli answers these and more.

Dear Shaykh, thus is it permissible to hold your turbah when not in sajdah? Doesn't it invalidate the salah as you don't have your palms straightened when standing or when in ruku? I'm asking from the situations where there are children around as well as when in the house of a non-Shia brother (our of respect and fear of their evil)?

Sheikh , if the Mohr is clay and the human being made of clay (هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ طِينٍ )! does it make any sense though that the greatest creation of Allah prostrate on clay that he was made of ? And does Sujod in Quean means placing the forehead on ground ?

@@naser9015 prostration. Sujood means prostration.
@naser90152 жыл бұрын
@@user-vt8pn8ix9n My I expalin what Sujod, is ?if you know Arabic and look at the true meaning of this word in the dictionary, you find it means obedience خظوع او الطاعه) ) and later on in Islam the form and manifestation of obsidian was introduced in the form of what we know it today as “prostration on ground”. If Sujod meant to be prostration then how can you explain this “have you not seen that to God do sujod whosoever in earth and sun and the moon …. Al-Haj:18” you find the English translation of sujod in Quran is prostration but this is wrong, if it is that so, then how earth, sun and moon do sujod to God? How they prostrate? you find in the other verse “ And the plants and the tress both do sujod to him.” Al-Rahman: 6, again how this creation bow down to earth? When Allah ordered angels to do sujod to Adam who was made of clay and Iblis then refused, Turab (Adam) was just now created and Allah didn’t asked them to prostrate ON Turab ! He commanded all angels to “Obey” Adam and Iblis refused to obey and subsequently he was expelled! From these versed you can find the root meaning of Sujod is “OBEDIENCE “
@user-vt8pn8ix9n2 жыл бұрын
@@naser9015 makes sense, I asked my dad how the trees do sujood to Allah he said "probablywhen the wind passes by and maybe that's how they do it" maybe a strong gush of wind, when the sun goes down it does sajada to Allah and the moon goes down jt does sajada to Allah (what I heard months ago)

Assalaamalaikum I have a question. First just have a look at the Fatwa of Ayatollah Sistani regarding things on which sajdaa is allowed. Ruling number 1085. Sajdah should be performed on earth, and on those things which are not edible nor worn, and on things which grow from earth (e.g. wood and leaves of trees). *It is not permissible to perform Sajdah on things which are used as food or dress (e.g. wheat, barley and cotton etc.)* , or on things which are not considered to be parts of the earth (e.g. gold, silver, etc.). How can we perform sajda on our sleeves, which is a part of cloth (cotton) as you have stated in the video at 1:44 seconds? Jazaakallah khayran katheeraa.
