Hi, I live in Chicago. Initially I had the same problem and concerns you raised.But the day when I purposefully started loving snow I was at least able to adjust with it though not completely even now . I saw how a little boy enjoying the snow, he was rolling around the ground on a heavy snow day , while I was shivering inside at home seeing him playing. That incident changed my mind and I slowly started adjusting with snow. Only thing still continues when snow comes 😅 - It’s a big Wow for our people in Kerala but its still a Big oh No😢 for me
