Thank you so much honestly I for posting these videos on/about tretinoin I’m about to start tretinoin and I’m so scared and nervous I have a lot of closed comedones and clogged pores. I am using the isclinical cleanser and Estée Lauder ANR serum and is clinical restorative emulsion moisturizer and I have some other stuff more intense for when I get real dry or purge. And in morning I have the skinseuticals pholeterin CE vitamin c and then the same moisturizer and sunscreen

You have to remember that her skin is different than yours. Not everything she uses will work for you. I stopped following influencers like this because I’ve broke out so much. I follow what my skin wants and use those. Just research and use what you would believe will work for you best! Listen to your skin and what your skin likes. Not what hers does.

You actually should be using the vitamin C on dry skin and then you should dampen your skin before you use the snail mucin since it is 96% snail mucin and it also has hyaluronic acid in it and you should always apply that on damp skin. This is from two different her dermatologist.

Three year tret user here: Tretinoin is ONLY used at night. Vitamin C is best in the morning. However when first starting tretinoin I would focus on hydration (hyaluronic acid or snail mucin). Once your skin has become acclimated to tret you can incorporate other actives in your routine like vitamin C and other I wouldn’t use other actives the same night as your tret. Purging can last a few weeks to like two months, it all depends on how often you’re using the product. Good luck!

Use hyaluronic acid serum and good moisturizer and wash your face one time in a day in the night and morning just wash your face with water .

1. Reduce how often your using Tretinoin e.g every other day or 3 times a week. 2. Simplify your routine (refrain from using actives such as Salicylic acid and Glycolic acid and Benzoyl peroxide)while starting Tretinoin as it can increase irritation. 3. Apply moisturiser before Tretinoin, as it reduces its absorption, reducing irritation in the process. 4. Use a moisturiser with hydrating ingredients with ceramides, peptides and hyaluronic acid. 5. Use a cream instead of gel Tretinoin as gel tretinoin contains alcohol, which can be drying to the skin.
