Depends on the mode of all random items or just the upgrades eg morph ball etc. and not the missile tanks

I know how to unlock Random you just have to pass the normal game and then it is unlocked I hope it helps you😅

Man this playthrough must've been painful to endure, with the rng being ass. 24 minutes in and almost no progress due to missing morph bombs.
