Scythian culture as a society only starts at 1000 BCE, and 1600 BCE at max. Hence we can use this reference to date Mahabaratha to occur around this period. In the Kurukshetra War, the Sakas sided with the Kauravas under the Kamboja king Sudakshina, hence we can narrow this down from 1600 BCE to 300 BCE. I dont understand why we want to push Mahabharatha to be 10000 plus years old? What is the point? Do we want to claim to be the oldest civilization on earth? I have a theory that The Kauravas were the (Kurosh) Cyrus the great descendants led by Darius I (Duryodhana) also known as Druhyus in the Battle of the 10 Kings. Hystaspes, the father of Darius I, studied under the Brahmanas in India, thus contributing to the development of the religion of the Magi (Zoroastrianism) Please wake up and use all the references that we already have. The zodiac signs/date/seasons etc are all just made up.
