Some romanian music sounds amazingly close to irish music.I wish i know why.

Traditional Irish, Caucasian, Romanian and Bulgarian music have similarities but also have supple differences; as the latter three border the Black Sea, music could have been brought to Ireland via trading ships.

@@peterw4338 I was thinking more like the Celtic connection,knowing that the Balkan region was at one time inhabited by Celtic tribes.But it's kinda far fetched.

@@tirpitz19 You have an interesting theory. I will read up on that. There is however no consensus as to origins of the peoples in the south east Balkans and the variants in language are not entirely accounted for. Oddly, musical instruments such have made their way from eastern Europe to Ireland but not to GB.
