i love beck so much because her character is so basic that it's so relatable. it's easy to watch her character because it's human, she's flawed, she's selfish, she's an attention-seeker, and she appeals to me for it. there's no sure answer why joe is obsessed with her which is true for many victims of stalkers. you don't have to be famous or uNiQuE. you just have to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

@@qvxcswqr i get the cheating part was awful but the karent thing, it’s pretty normal snd common to be bitchy to the new girlfriend especially if youre still in love with your ex. there are hella memes about girls dissing the new girlfriend of their ex because it’s been normalized. and it’s flawed, but for me it’s also pretty relatable. the one thing that wasn’t relatable was when she seduced Joe into cheating on Karen.
