Amaewhule Led Assembly Bars Fubara From Spending Govt Funds

The Martin Amaewhule-led House of Assembly has shut down all expenditures of the Rivers State governor until Governor Siminalayi Fubara presents his budget before the House.
This follows a seven-day ultimatum the lawmakers gave the governor to present his budget before the House.
The Leader of the House Major Jack raised the motion informing the House about the expiration of the seven-day ultimatum given to the governor to present the 2024 budget before the House.

We can't have a Governor who is basically incapacitated because a former Governor wants to rule for a 3rd term. Nigerians can talk ehn, smart people are diplomatic, open your eyes, wike will win in the Supreme Court, now seeing that fubara is bent on showing strength, he will go ahead and continue to spend. On the proclamation of the Supreme Court judgement that the 27 assembly members hold their seat, automatically makes what they are saying here law, which means fubara moved contrary to the law of the assembly- an impeachable offense. This means that the assembly does not need another excuse to impeach him a day after the Supreme Court judgement. Lolololol, this is so funny. I THINK FUBARA WAS NOT SMART ENOUGH, IT WAS TOO EARLY.

I am not for anybody but this Wike's faction is playing by the rule of law by the time supreme Court is called upon to give interpretation Fubara would have no ground....the Governor's needs a mixture of seasoned politicians and sound legal counsels...if this lawmakers are recognized thereafter by the supreme Court any kobo the Governor spends after this legislative order amounts to spending without appropriation and it's an impeachable offense
