the man Brandon was talking about Mr. Hardy fixed up that town. He was a billionaire, owner of 84 lumber, he poured millions of dollars into Uniontown and helped revitalize it. I wouldn't recommend visiting the town, but the mountains are beautiful. Definitely don't go downtown at night.

I know the problem, Jason, when they ask you questions. They are waiting for you to offer more information than you need to give. Most people blab away. So, when you and Ben don't answer more than what you need to, their brains go bluescreen. Keep answering that way. It's amazing and more people should!
@goodyeoman4534
@goodyeoman4534 Жыл бұрын
I noticed the same. When their questions aren't answered to their satisfaction, or they don't feel their questions are greeted with the right amount of deference of defensiveness, they get confused and then start to panic. That's when the aggression starts, first with the huffing and puffing and eye-rolling, and then with the threats. Finally they have the brainwave of denouncing their foe to the police.

It’s such a funny paradigm, on one hand they are triggered about maintaining their own or the customer’s privacy, but want to insert themselves into his personal information. We have a society obsessed with safety and security, while simultaneously everyone overshares…whether it’s on social media or in person. I’m a reserved person, who doesn’t say a lot and I get accused of being stuck-up, just because I’m not an over sharer.

It's honestly terrifying how many people are completely detached from reality. So many of them do this passive aggressive act where they instigate a confrontation and then they try to pretend you're "harassing" them. They'll literally walk up to a man holding a camera to say "you're shoving a camera in my face". It's like the twilight zone. They see a man with a camera, their brains malfunction, and they feel like they've been deputized to interrogate you.

Look at a lot of the comments on here too, it is mind blowing how ignorant and clueless some people are… Especially if they live in the US. It’s bizarre how uncomfortable and scared these people are to see a person holding a camera, while simultaneously being recorded by countless security cameras, city / street cams, peoples dash cams ect. Hopefully if anything, even if some people are mad about it they’ll keep to themselves and understand people’s rights better

These people trying to wield HIPAA law like a sword just grinds my gears. I was the supervisor of a prison medical records office for 11 years, and worked in hospitals for 35 years, so I was quite familiar with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and other associated confidentiality requirements. The woman who came out to confront you (and any of her employees) bears responsibility for keeping the identities of her patients/clients confidential, not you. She is the one who would suffer consequences of an inappropriate release of confidential information, not you. If she wants total privacy, she should have her patients park in the back and come in through a backdoor. Otherwise, why doesn't she police the sidewalk at all times, stopping passersby from even looking at her patients? Because cameras have magical powers, I guess. I'd tell her, "You don't understand physics. Light is bouncing off your patients inside and coming out to hit my camera. I'm just collecting that light. I'm not stealing the light from inside the building."

I don't have a bone to pick w the public, I could care less about their understanding of filming in public. I have a bone to pick w public servants and honestly I hate most of them. Who gives AF about the citizens? Why has the focus shifted from public servants to private business owners and civilians? This isn't helping anything and promotes nothing. Again, this is nothing more than entertainment. I hate frauditor channels but take a moment and watch the intro for DR DAVE BEER PROFESSOR AND DEBUNKER OF FRAUDITORS channel. You can see AP during an "audit" get arrested. In that intro you will see AP begging like a little bitch not to go to jail (whether lawful or unlawful arrest it doesn't matter, at least to me). I hate the police, I hate our government and believe in anarchy so don't get my suggestion to watch the frauditor channel twisted. I've been following and supporting auditors and police accountability activists for over 10 years on KZbin but I've come to realize over the years that these auditing channels aren't freedom fighting channels, they're entertainment and nothing more. That interaction with the PNC bank girl was essentially perfect. She walked away with understanding and the public photography continued unabated. Love to see it.

Your video's are 3 fold. We get to see the beautiful places across this country. People get educated on the law and our rights. And we get humor as well. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.

I guess there's people who have a problem with being a tourist & taking pictures & video of your trip. It's sad some people are ignorant about Our Rights. Great job Jason & Ben. Let me know if you ever get to Dahlonega, GA. Wonderful town here in N GA.

I love that you document the buildings since they are always being torn down in the name of"progress". And the history lesson from the people that live there. A great time capsule for future generations. Thanks Amagansett!
