Shatta Rakho ran away with my $700 in 2011 when I returned from United States to promote my album. I asked him to produce 1000 copies of CDs at Digital Image at Amakom. He disappeared with the money for five months and I had to return to the States without selling the CDs. Dan Bassey intervened and retrieved money for me after I left. The day I return to Ghana, he will pay for his unscrupulous attitude.

People in these comments speakimg of intelligence are the people who equate intelligence to being an orator. The man seems like an introvert. He's a man of few words. How can he write such fantastic lyrics and you listen to a few minutes interview and say he's not intelligent, c'mon, he is aging too at least he's still alive to tell us something.

I listened to the entirety of the interview. Yes I agree with most that Nana was halting in his deliveries and Hammer did a great job fishing out the answers and stories BUT I disagree with those saying Amakye Dede is not intelligent. C'mon do you think it takes just talent (which we all agree he possesses) to last 50 years in this industry and not gone into financial ruins? Nana is both intelligent and talented and smart. This interview was a bit sub-par but for his age and immense contribution to the cultural body ethos of our dear Ghana, we cut him some slack. Iron boy there is none like you. Thank you for all you have done, the happiness and comfort your music has given us millions of people, we say y3dasi paa. Hammer, you are a great interviewer and I just subscribed to your channel. it is surely a boring interview, but to adduce dumbness for him is also dumb of you. Look at the stack of music in his cupboard and the amount of sense in them. Do you think a dumb person can do this for so many years? he's probably just not good at holding conversations.

I think Amakye Dede is just naturally musically inclined but unfortunately, he's not blessed with intelligence and smartness. Being musically inclined is also a form of "intelligence and smartness " as you put it. You're trying to say he's not eloquent. Not everyone who talks a lot is intelligent. That's why he put his words in music. He's aging too. Try and be more empathetic.

maybe you are inconsistent with your definition of intelligence.
