Satan / Devil your works of sorcery took a young man. ( lady in blue hails 😢) hush don’t cry - he’s gone!*2 Who’s gonna call me when I’m in the hood Or ask me to serenade him with song !!! DANKIE, mfowethu!!! This is LOVELY!!! The song touched my heart in a profound way and the young man's voice and rendition of the song lifted me into the another side. And this Afrikaans "oom"lungu had not the faintest of ideas what the words mean. My heart did, though... The heartache in that man's voice reverberated through my veins and into my bones. Google translate just doesn't tell the whole story...

Its a song about losing a friend to death, basically the singer is lamenting, saying, "Days are not the same but God is watching. Yesterday you (referring to the friend) were with me but now you are gone. I now have to adapt to different life circumstances without you......and so on. Reflecting on their life together."
