I first heard it on some stranger's MySpace page lol. Not sure how i got there. Then i drove around the city all thru the summer of 06 listening to it at night. Now it's 2023 and that was a different lifetime. Hard to believe it's been so long because i can recall that time so clearly, listening now. Little did i know. my guess, and it doesn't mean much, but I think she actually wrecked the car while falling asleep. The woman we see dancing could be 'Death' (just say that as their are skulls on her dress, which could be symbolic) that shows us the car catching fire... who then ushers her off to a beautiful sunrise in the afterlife. I like this interpretation and i think it gives it a lot more darker feel. Again, just my guess, but it works for me.

Judging from the video the song is about sexual abuse, hallucinogens, and disassociation hence the dancing double self with the monarch on the front of the dress and the skulls on the back. 2:04 where the split occurs in the process.
