Funny enough this sign effect is reversed in the Another Step episode, here it starts as the Hate sign then starts fluturating with the love sign before it gets erased when Doki and Nabi both embrace and drown out the voices of both sides. In another step it starts as the Love sign when Il-ho, Sam-ho and Pi storm Yi-ho and the love extremist main base, it flucturates when the locked up hate protestors get freed and then it's erased when both sides stop fighting and work together to save Il-ho.

That quote is from the final step, released in 2008. The quote is a bit odd too ... it might be incorrectly translated, or there's something more implied by the Korean text. But the quote is the opposite to what the show tries to tell. - The world has to change, and allow interracial relationships, so he can be with his true lover. - But the way way the quote starts with "I thought that", implies that everything else don't have to happen. Meaning, if the world won't change, we can still reach happiness. That the world doesn't have to change. Maybe a better English translation would be "My belief is that,".

What's deep about this is that she loves animals and every animal she takes care of and rescues, she places them a green scarf. If you notice after the hedgehog's death, she dumps the ashes onto the tree, and ties its scarf onto the branch. That tree with the many scarfs that Nabi finds, is the tree with the scarves of all the animals she (Doki) lost. That drove me to tears. Very very deep.

It’s actually based on a common tradition in Korea where people tie ribbons to trees as a way of making a wish. The multiple ribbons are a sign that Doki is not the only one wishing for peace. EDIT: I just read the book a little while ago, and it turns out that we're both right.

My wife was watching a K-drama on Netflix when a song came up there and my brain got triggered almost immediately, a memory of a cat and a bunny. Then it all slowly comeback to me and I ended up finding this compilation! I remember watching this when I was 15 in Newgrounds, now I’m 35 and this made me tear up triggering a bunch of memories from simpler times. I think this is a fantastic animation that is still great by todays standards! And a beautiful message!

Yeah, most of which tend to be blue states or regions. I would argue, to both of you, that where these hate crimes occur likely has very little to do with the voting habits of the regions it occurs or the person committing the act. Correlation does not equal causation. I can definitely tell you that I don't care about either.

Just a few days ago, I showed my friend this for the first time. We all grew up with NG, but he had somehow missed it. I told him I only had one issue with the HD remakes, and now it's all perfect. I don't know why, but that "but she..." hits me like a truck every time. Glad it's back. Awesome to see it compiled in such a clean manner with the little extra bits. This is so fricking cute!! I love how the kitty was just minding their own business, then the bunny was love struck! Then as time passes, the kitty soon falls for the bunny!! This love story is so relatable, because sometimes not all lobe it allowed. Yet, they have to stand by their love!! It’s kinda sad, yet it’s so touching and heart warming!!
