I live and work in the CBD. We usually have to endure high rise building evacuations at least once a year. It's nice to have spaces like these around tall buildings. They're not used everyday; but handy when you need them. At my residential building, everyone evacuates down to the footpath on Flinders Street. I walk over to nearby tram stop shelter in the middle of Flinders st to sit on the bench seating. At my office building, we evacuate to a nearby park, stand around or sit on the giant sculpture at the park.

Thanks Lachlan. That’s what we aim to do with these videos and Archimarathon. Thanks again for suggesting the MPavilions series.

I really appreciate your videos a lot largely because I’m an architecture student in 3rd world country and as such we have not so good facilities and personally cannot afford traveling so this virtual tour with you guys is very informative and enticing.... I know this doesn’t equate to physical traveling but the information that you impart is priceless... thank you 🙏

Hopefully when lockdown finishes and Covid19 is over, we get to go visit buildings and talk about them again. Please share our channel with your friends.

It's funny, with the 2019 pavillion I really needed the explanation to appreciate it. This one had instant visual appeal and it still does but it does make me want to take a very large hose to it to clean those brown puddles that clearly never get washed out by rain! And this has made me appreciate the undoubtedly spotless drainage of the 2019 pavillion more :)

You are slowly going through our back catalogue I see. Yes I thought they might have cleaned it for this year’s MTalks since they are reusing them. Doesn’t look like it. Funny I am actually going to be going to this location this morning too.

Great to see you both outside again. Loved the pavilion and the footage. A couple of days ago I passed by the Corrales and Molezúm pavilion and looks like it's getting some works done. I'll try to find what they are doing.

I wish they restore it and to be able to visit it. I was almost going to ask if you had any good images of the place for the video as what I could find were pretty bad resolution.

The thing with analogy is that sometimes designers take it too literally or get carried away - I have done that with one of my uni projects and I did not realise until it got pointed out

Well it’s good to be able to reflect back on things. That’s what education is about.
