The 213 incident was a fluke occurrence with the matter of pulling out the day of, but she still went ahead and fought Valentina anyway a couple months later. This woman could very well be the only person to have wins beaten Miesha Tate, Ronda Rousey AND Cris Cyborg, and she's barely under the radar. That's madness. This is biggest fight because Cyborg wasn't built on smoke and mirrors. And stop with the 135 disadvantage talk, Amanda, like Ronda before her, started at 145 and left it because they didn't want to fight THAT girl. I don't see how Amanda is competitive unless she magically becomes a D1 wrestler. Holly was a world class couterpuncher, bigger and stronger than Cris on fight night, and still got mauled. Amanda is known as a standup fighter. Nobody is better at that than Cyborg.

I think Nunes takes it. Nunes has fought by far the better quality opposition!! Besides the one-dimensional Holly Holm, who has Cyborg really fought? NO-ONE!! Yes, Cyborg is the favorite, but that's mainly due to her size and strength. This is the first time Cyborg will be going into a fight without the huge physical and psychological advantages she usually has. Nunes, like Cyborg is 5'8 and holds a 1 inch reach advantage over Cyborg. Remember, Nunes is naturally a Featherweight too. She started her career fighting at Featherweight and only went down to Bantamweight because at that time, there were hardly any MMA female Featherweights around.This time, Nunes won't have to cut too much weight and IMHO, she'll be a lot better for it. Not cutting too much weight will be a significant factor in this fight. Nunes' gas-tank and conditioning, IMHO will be better. I feel Nunes is/approaching her peak and I feel she's getting Cyborg at the right time. In a way Holly Holm set the blue-print to beat Cyborg. Footwork/movement, counter-striking and denying Cyborg room to strike by closing the distance and clinching her. Holm fought a decent fight but Cyborg's pressure took over. You have to remember that Holly Holm is 37, Nunes turned 30 in May. Big difference!! Nunes has the better skill-set and IMHO, is the more well-rounded fighter. Cyborg is gonna be very surprised by how strong Nunes will be at Featherweight. You may call me crazy, but this could be the first time that Cyborg get's finished!!!
