I coach vocal music (swing/show choir) at a public school in an inner city locale. We're just in our first year, but I'm planning a show with only AFP songs. This is the finale. Olly Olly Oxen Free, Astronaut, Ampersand, and Want It Back, I've had to tweak the lyrics for the high school age and the crowd (meaning parents & grandparents), but when we rock this out in year 4--HA! The rest of Iowa won't know what to do with itself. Go, Polar Bears!!

Two small corrections: 1) In the second and third chorus it's "reactor" not every actor. 2) It's "High for the contest, who's the better Nazi" not "Not see"

+patrick horsman This is the official lyric video, and it mimics the official lyrics on the booklet. “Every actor” and “not see” are the “main” readings. However, the lyrics aren't meant to be just one or the other, buth both simultaneously, as every new line picks up where the previous left off. “Who's the better Nazi” mutates into “not see eye to eye”, which in turn becomes a paraphrasing of Ghandi's “an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind”… The song is a long string of thought snippets. The music video chose to alternate between “-ry actor” and “reactor”, and completely skip over “Nazi” ir order to better portray the simultaneousness of the lyrics.
