Amanda Seyfriend is such a good actress. I would have never expected her to be the most successful one to come out of Mean Girls. She escaped being typecast, that's for sure.

I would argue maybe Rachel McAdams got the most success after Mean Girls but Amanda ain’t far behind. Just maybe what put her below McAdams is that filmography wise, she’s been in a lot of stinkers or mediocre movies. Until recently with The Dropout where she truly show she’s a very talented actress.

Seyfried doesn't really look like Holmes, but she did a good job of looking crazy. The Dropout wasn't the best Holmes narrative, but it fills in a lot of the behind the scenes stuff the documentaries didn't cover. I don't know how much artistic license they took...but it seems plausible.
