Amanda Seyfried reveals that after suffering anxiety dreams about high school for years, she decided to go back and visit as an adult, and recommends that everyone give it a try - especially for those who dealt with real-life "Mean Girls." On her tour she surprised the high school drama teacher, even though she never actually acted in the school plays!

you can tell she was actually bullied unlike some celebs who say there were for sympathy. You can feel her pain and stuff here, even if she seems like it's funny - it's in her eyes.

the fact that Amanda still deals with HS trauma to this day is crazy. It makes me feel silly worrying about my MS trauma with mean girls in school, because if this literal superstar can't, what makes me think that I can? Big eye opener for me. I should stop worrying about Middle School bullies and not let their comments about my appearance in MS bother me

Lucky went to school with her and she was in iconic movies like Mean Girls and Mama Mia she literally acted alongside Lindsay Lohan during the height of her career 1998 Parent Trap to 2005 Herbie Fully Loaded she was the it girl. Also getting to work with Meryl Streep and Cher I wanna be an actress and singer ever since I was a kid and would love to work with them. There’s so actors/actresses and singers I’d love to work with especially the ones I wasn’t even born to high school like I was 3 when Hilary and Lindsay first movies came out in 1998 and was 3 turning 4 to just turned 4 when Britney and Christina debut Britney’s album came out in January I turned 4 in June and Christina’s album came out 2 months later in august. So I loved all 4 of them since I was 3-4 years old. I remember when I was like maybe 5-6 my older sister’s friend had to explain to me how Lindsay didn’t have a twin and played both parts I thought it was magic lol.

I get where Amanda is coming from. Some 30yeaes later and I was approaching the fruit and vegetables section of a local supermarket and I froze like a deer staring into headlights- there infront of me stood one of many girls who found it delightful in their world to taunt, punch, push, kick, and slagg on me during primary and secondary years of schooling. School was so much fun. Not.

Honestly, reading this comment section makes me feel so much better because I don't feel alone. I as well, was traumatized in High School. I was treated and labeled like the weird kid just because I was really shy and reserved, but even when I would try to open up to someone, they'd always see it as an opportunity to pick on me because that reputation had already been instilled on me; it's craxy how a label or a reputation can be put on you without you doing anything in particular. Anyway, I got depressed and anxious, and since those days, it never left me. Unfortunately, bullying experiences never really leave you, but you can try your best not to let those memories influence you, and let them go. For me, some days are easier than others, but it's always nice to have reminders that it can happen to anyone and that it wasn't "my fault" or whatever. I know that I have already done everything that I could, but when someone picks on you, the problem is them, not you, so there is only so much you can do. Whoever is reading this, please, remember that you are not what people tell you, or used to tell you. They were actually projecting their own unhappiness for life on you, and they didn't actually know you; they would just see what they wanted to see of you, not the real you. Take care, you deserve better, and know that you're gonna get it. xx

I know exactly how Amanda feels! I have two Disabilities Autism and Epilepsy(which means I have multiple Seizures) and I get the worst Seizures a person can get Grand Mal! I suffer from severe chronic Anxiety, Depression, and stress because of my Disabilities and growing up from Kindergarten through 12th Grade. My life was a living Hell! I had no friends and I was constantly Bullied, harassed, made fun of, belittled, spit on, verbally, and physically abused, I received Death threats you name it. All through out my school years. Not even the quote on quote loser kids wanted to be friends with me! I'm all grown up now and I still don't fit in at all anywhere! I can't make or keep friends to save my life! I can't even make friends with people I have things in common with! I never had a boyfriend, been on a date, been hugged or kissed by a man who wasn't a family member anything, The only friends I have are my Parents, my Sister, her Husband, her two kids, and that’s it!

Every famous person says they were bullied/mean to in middle/high school. And everyone in the comment section is like "me too." (Including me) -- It makes me wonder where all the mean girls are today? How do they react to this type of video? Do they recognize that they were the mean girls? Or do they claim the same thing like "yeah girls were really mean to me"? Does everyone think they were bullied and no one realize they were the bullies? Did the mean girls also have their own mean girls?
@sondralevinson7978

I don't think everyone thinks that they were bullied, a lot of people grow up without those kinds of experiences. It's just that those people probably aren't posting comments on KZbin videos. I just think that people who were bullied are the ones who feel compelled to comment. As far as mean girls-some of them grow up, some don't. I've met plenty of "grown-ups" who still behave like they're in middle school.

Guys, pitting a girl against a girl, or a person against a person is not right.

It could be the way people or media where you live depict the way the US schools are. Some people get enamored with it but you have to understand not everyone’s expirence in US are not all the same.

I think Kelly talks a bit too much over the guest... I'd like to hear a complete story from the guest

Lindsay Lohan just got married recently. I hope Kelly brought that up, but I doubt she did. Kelly seems to have no clue what to say to actually further the conversation. Her interview skills are still super weak.

Why would that be relevant at all for Amanda Seyfried??

@@mynameis2013 Because they starred in the movie Mean Girls together many years ago.

@@user-ms3jz7ub7n I know they starred in Mean Girls together but that was a long time ago and they are not friends. Kids born when Mean Girls was released are now adults. It makes more sense to talk about her current life, work and costars then one from 18 years ago. She’s not going to give an interesting answer because they haven’t kept up with each other.

@@mynameis2013 I mean it depends. Some actors remain friends for years after making hit movies but some don't. Personally I thought Amanda was absolutely brilliant in The Dropout and deserves every award available to her.

Another great interview but baby I keep seeing you with the makeup and the black nails all this I like but you already know I'd rather see you with no polish no makeup us just having a conversation about life and for me I guess the only thing that could be better is heaven. ❤️💗💕💞💖💖🌹
