My theory is that amanda was trapped blah blah all that other stuff but have you noticed when Amanda gets dark wooly is trying to stop it in anyway he can. even in chapter one in the "rotting scenario" wooly did not want us to see the fox, (my theory starts here) Wooly was most likely created by Hameln to keep amanda's dark thoughts in check, because her dark thoughts are the problems of a real life human living a real life, not in some TV, and because of that the dark thoughts bring her rebacc- I mean amanda closer to reality. BUUUUUT since wooly was made by hameln because he makes it more of an actual kids show by "suppressing" Amanda's dark thoughts because the more of an actual kids show it seems the more child’s souls they collect. but amanda still has those thoughts because like i said human (not saying she isn't human) problems. Riley was helping Amanda with the how the knight who killed the princess accidently blah blah blah because it was dark and Amanda liked it. wooly on the other hand was constantly telling us to stop with the story but we didn't because of the dark story calming amanda. Another thing is that Amanda has most of her control over it. I know it still has free will as a separate being. We know this because we can visibly see Amanda stop it from killing Riley as if it were her pet…demon thing. The reason I said most is because when Amanda orders it to stop attacking it did so reluctantly as if it were like “GODDAMMIT WHY CAN’T I KILL THEM” but regardless it listened. I don’t know why it listens though maybe just cuz they are kinda the same person…but amanda demon still has thoughts of its own. As for wooly…well his likely main objective is to make amanda well…amanda. Wooly is not likely the MAIN ANTAGONIST but a pawn, puppet, or something like that for the bigger baddie. The reason he killed Joanne is not because of the tapes, well I mean partly because of that and how joanne was helping Riley who was helping Amanda be dark and moody again. Wooly probably has WAY more control over it being wooly was most likely a product of Hameln given free will, unlike amanda being a trapped child. Wooly demon tried to kill them because they were stopping a WHOLE LOT of wooly’s actions and wooly did not like that and killed joanne. Now the final part of my theory is the connections between amanda and wooly. After a while if you stay on the menu screen u can see a lot of symbols which (this was decoded by game theorists which is a YT channel so check them out) the symbols translated to someone (which was most likely amanda) saying “He tried to find me. It will find you too.” scary right? I think Amanda (if it even is her) was saying how Wooly brought Amanda on the TV by orders of Hameln. As for it the only thing I can think of when she said “it” she probably was referring to Wooly's demon because, you can clearly see how when u give Amanda’s demon the wooly plush and roared as if it were saying “WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU GIVE ME THIS DISGRACE” with wooly demon hearing it and roaring back “WTF DID YOU CALL ME BYATCH” with amanda demon like “OH SHYAT IM OUT” and if amanda demon was scared by the Wooly demon when it merely howled, you can imagine what strength it had. Now imagine that fighting a little girl then bringing her in a tv obviously wooly demon won. Thats it folks im here all night. I hope you enjoyed me ranting a whole essay but please tell me if there is any wholes in my theory or something that u disagree with and i will try and match it with the gameplay see if it is right or wrong byeeeee :3
