One of my all time favourite lines in any tv show was Trigger saying, “They’re calling the kid Rodney after Dave”. Triggers broom is another favourite, the chandelier obviously. The satellite dish outside the apartment which ended bringing Boeing jets in around Nelson Mandela House. The sex dolls spontaneously inflating. There are too many to pick an absolute favourite

Easily one of the funniest scenes of any TV show. The writer, John Sullivan, wanted Del to stumble and almost catch himself as a person would naturally do (like the "kick" in Inception), but David Jason knew it would be much funnier if he fell like a log without even looking in the direction of the fall. Comedy gold. And as many people have pointed out, Trigger's reaction to the disappearing and reappearing Del Boy is priceless.

David Jason had previously been in "Do Not Adjust Your Set" with some of the team that would become Monty Python - there is about two seasons run on YT, one sketch is 'how to fall' as David demonstrates to actors etc , how falls should be done (actually its the same fall about 5 times over). With Only Fools & Horses, there are so many but for me one of my favourites is the inflatable dolls episode. It’s title is Danger UXD 😀

Having watched these episodes a few times, and also just watching sketches, the comedic hit is weaker; but seeing someone's reaction, on their first viewing, really brought home how funny these entertainers were. Your reaction to thes clips makes me laugh with you as much as the first time I viewed them. Thanks for posting.

I remember seeing this when first broadcast. For quite some time afterward I had no idea how the scene ended because I was laughing so hard at Del Boy going down like a pole, and then Trigger losing track of him, that I couldn’t focus on the Television and missed it. There are many moments of absolute genius in “Only Fools and Horses”, but you really need to watch the whole series to get why some of those moments are as funny as they are. A lot of it needs context - Trigger naming his kid Rodney, for example.

An absolute classic scene in Only Fools and Horses, that fall must have taken so much practice- to fall without looking or puting your hands out like that is realy, really hard. As people have said, Trigger's reaction is great, too- great comic timing. I also love how Del stumbles on the phrase "cramping my style".
