This is our, British, sarcasm at its best. This is wonderful!. I am, too, a Tetley teabag person. Hoop-and-stick was a Victorian children's pastime. Get the hoop rolling and keep momentum up by whacking it with a stick. I consider Yorkshire Tea as rather strong. It would be classified as "Builders Tea" defined by the tea bordering red brown in colour and which the tea spoon stands up unsupported as it so strong.

Amanda, You know very well tea in England has many guises, black, green, lemon, apple, cinnamon,Raspberry, and more flavours. Yorkshire, Tetley and PG tips are the fast teas, always in bags so they can be pushed in every pocket to work or every trip by transport. But Yorkshire is in my opinion the best of the rest as it has strength enough to be used more than once in a mug and reasonably priced.

we love to poke fun at ourselves, we do things to counter act our other side, we have eccentrics do weird things, make a wind tunnel, to counter act the sanity and stability.

Loose leaf tea is far better, rather than the overly powdered stuff in a bag. But saying that I really enjoy Yorkshire tea bags

Hoop and stick, young children would have a hoop that was probably about two feet across and they would have a stick, they would make the hoop roll along by using the stick on top and rolling the hoop in a forward motion but really this was about 90 years ago, it sounds like great fun to me.

@@LADYRAEUK its here amanda Why are British place names so hard to pronounce, i think the channel is jay foreman,, you will see why some places are cester, some like grimsby ar by at the end, it depended who was here, but there is a great map they show, where we were invaded, over the years we have got lazy, kept the names to a point but shortened them,

I know the latter is pronounced "Bister", but from the spelling, it looks like it could be a word to describe a female sibling who swings both ways, as it were.

Not sure if you ever covered this but how about a session on the truly British celebration of Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday) New Orleans has Mardi Gras but UK has Pancake races where competitors must complete a course whilst tossing a hot pancake, or the Asbourne football match and other such traditions

Great Video, and reaction. Yes I agree you are now one of use, well done. Some of our English place names come from a direct translation of Anglo-Saxon.
