These personal videos are my favorite videos of yours! For my planning this quarter, I have been all over the place. I started in the EC Daily Duo a5, then went to MakseLife vertical, then found myself missing book bound planners and seeing my whole week at once, so last week I went back into my Hemlock & Oak, and I plan to finish the year in that. My H&O b5 came, and I am so excited to start using it, and that is where I plan to start my year.

I got a Hemlock and Oak too! It just arrived today. Can’t wait to talk about in our Patreon zoom this weekend 😊
@janablanco39467 күн бұрын
@@Sarahbear2000How fun! The only reason I stopped using it in the first place was because the grid was so small. I’m really hopeful that the new b5 will work because the grid is bigger. 🤞

I have always loved Katie Daisy as her art always charming. I have tried to use it in the past but it does not work for planning, however I do use it in the morning as an expression of gratitude or “what makes me smile” as I start the day. Sets the stage each day on a positive note. It is discounted right now in Amazon. I end the year in Passion Planner but going with Hemlock & Oak in 2025. Cannot wait to start it. great video, thanks.

Thanks for your inspiring content, Amanda - wishing you an enjoyable holiday season. The way you change things up helps me feel better about the three planners I've used this year: Jan-July/August Laurel Denise Mini & Hemlock & Oak Minimalist, finishing out the year with the Passionate Penny Pincher 2024-25 Work Planner. All year I've used a plain notebook for ongoing and daily lists, recently added the Sprouted weekly planner notepad. I will be adding the LD Portrait planner in January.

Oh wow, that’s a really awesome combo of planners. I love the idea of using a plain notebook and a separate weekly notepad. And I think switching up for different seasons is just what we have to do sometimes to be happy and feel comfortable in our planners;)

I started the year in a Laurel Denise and I loved writing on it and planning. However, I realized that I needed a more portable planner. I tried Sprouted in August and love it! I will be using in 2025.

Thank you for sharing what you have been using and loving. I need to set aside some time to get my 2025 MomAgenda planner stickered and ready! I also love the Katie Daisy planner/artwork. I buy them every year thinking I will journal in it but I never end up using it. That is a goal this new year- use the pretty things I bought!! The Planner Perfect journal is tempting me though!

Thank you Amanda!❤ always love your personal sharing videos..🥰 really enjoyed seeing what worked for you this quarter! My 2025 lineup has changed a little.. I was using Cocoa Daisy A5 inserts, a Hemlock and Oak weekly as well as Planner Perfect for scripting and journaling. I found a lot of overlap.. and when needing to reference past events which came up this year, it was hard with everything being in different monthly books or inserts.. so for this year I went with Hemlock and Oak for my daily.. she’s chunky! 😅 and if I love it next I’ll try H&O daily duo… but I love the daily layout.. so simple, lots of room for lists and notes etc as well as amazing paper.. the quality is so good! I also love the ethos of company and that I can decorate it as much or as little as I like. For my weekly I’m using a Laurel Denise mini horizontal.. which I hope won’t be too small! But I love the horizontal layout.. and think with also using a daily it will be used more for overview etc so hopefully not too small! I love Laurel Denise aesthetics, patterns and colors.. as well as the unique layout! Then PP… which I am using pretty much just for scripting my days a la Jenny’s method, and the journal for a monthly journal. I love PP! 💗 I’m also using the yellow PP Daisy journal as a spiritual journal, for prayers, scriptures which I want to memorize as well as copying from devotionals notes, etc and also answered prayers.. 💛 I wrote so much!! Haha 😅💕 2025 is an exciting topic! Have a wonderful holiday season Amanda! 🎄🕯️✨

I used a Hobonichi Cousin in 2024, and there was a lot I liked about it. But after looking at different options for 2025, I surprised myself and went with a simpler Rifle Paper planner (horizontal weekly) for next year. I decided to go more simple because I’m using the MakseLife Companion Notebooks as a seasonal goal-planning and mental health planner. And I’m using the adorable Katie Daisy planner as a gratitude journal.

My main planner is a disc bound but I'm trying out the Hemlock and Oak for the first time for 2025. I have always struggle with dot grid or graph paper because I write so big and often not straight that it drives me nuts but I'm going to give it a shot for 2025.

So I'm still not 100% on my 2025 planner line up, but I have ordered the A5 Sterling ink Vertical full planner, in hopes I can do EVERYTHING in one planner. However, this will be my 3rd year trying out this idea (first 2 were with the Hobonichi cousin). I love the whole idea of 1 planner, but the TRP always gets me by March. My solid Plan B option, is to use a Passion planner medium + Leuchtturm 1917 (120 gsm) notebook. I ordered my common planner, b/c thought they might run out, and if things fall apart by the end of January, I know I can always order the PP and Leuchturmm. Excited to see what Amanda's planner line-up will be for 2025 and how she liked her time in the Common planner!!!

I am always curious to hear what works for people and what doesn't. I am interested to hear about the Common planner and how it works for you this year. I had to laugh at your comment "the trp always gets me by March"....very relatable!

I feel the same about the ghosting with tomoe river paper when it comes to planning. I use a sterling ink tn booklet for my checkbook register and that purpose doesn’t bother me. I haven’t tried journaling on tomoe river paper, but I’m sure that won’t bother me since I won’t look at it after writing it unless I’m going back years later.

I am currently happy in my Agenda 52 weekly and I have a separate notebook or two for my daily journals. We've also all gone digital here so that our family can stay on the same page now that my teens are getting even busier. If the separate paper planners don't work for me, I will switch that out in the Spring.

I am wondering where you store all these journals. Do you look back on your journals for any reason? Thanks so much for all you do in your reviews.
@AmandasFavorites2 күн бұрын
I just store them in a bookshelf. I don't have that many because each 5 year takes 5 years to fill up! And I only fill up about 1 other journal a year that I have to keep...so it's not a lot. Many other journals like Katie Daisy or Planner Perfect morning pages journaling I won't keep forever. they are just for me....the only journals I have looked back on so far are my 5 years;)

I took advantage of the sales this past week and ordered my first Passion Planner(s). Because i am in Canada, shipping can cost as much as the product! So I ordered the undated weekly with the garden cover which I have coveted since seeing yours! I also ordered 2 undated daily's. I plan to devote the dailys to work, as I have just been using note books but feel i need something more structured for tracking actions and todo lists, notes, requests etc. I am excited to start them! I have tried their pages by taking advantage of the free printsblea on their website, but I am looking forward to having the actual planner to try.
