I'm so impressed by how your nomad family looks out for and helps one another. Are you having any kind of meet up where people can meet you?

Hi Amanda, loosing good friends is such a heartbreaking thing. Loosing loved ones hurts so much I lost my husband 4 years ago . Waves of grief still wash over me. Time helps but the sorrow never goes away. Holidays are hard.

You're absolutely right about that. I don't even remember Christmas 2020 - the first without my stepdad. I completely blocked it out.

lost my son a few years ago and spent a good year driving/parking in the NV mountains every waking moment and going home at night. Got a gen. and solar panel so I could stay out longer. Now I have a van and just want to live in it. Grieving is just easier "out " there

I know how you feel. My mom has been gone for 8 1/2 years and I’m still grieving. Also a lot of my family members that were older then me have passed away so my family is getting smaller. I am not happy around the holidays anymore. I get really depressed. I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend. You are not alone. ❤😊

Thank you, Amanda, for the reminder to get a tetanus shot. I'm 62 and have not had one in 30 years. We still need to be open to new friends. My best friends are 12 years older than me. I am in denial over this and hope we all live another 20 years. I need some younger friends. I want to continue to have an adventurous life when I retire and get out there in a year and a half. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us

Its6hard losing friends or loved ones espduring the holidays. Today my Nephew and family had the "Honor Walk"(when hospital staff line the hallway to OR and family walk behind family members bed to OR to donate organs) Nephew was in a bad car accident recently and was declared "brain dead." He is giving the gift of life to others through organ donation. Love you Rich and you will be missed greatly.❤

I no how you feel. I still messenger my 2 high school BFF that died a few years back. I do all the time and keep them up dated on my news and any family. My daughter too to tell her how handsome her son looks in his navy uniform. If it keeps your spirits up, I say keep it up.

I lost my husband in May of this year unexpectedly. He was best friend. I was only 17 when we got together. My grief is a big reason why I’m hitting the road. 😢💔 Sorry for your loss.

Honey, he could have caught a super bug, from hospital, while being seen for the foot. 😢 it wasn’t his fault, it wasn’t your fault. It was God, picking the most beautiful flower in the world. He leaned over and saw JJ, and said. He’s the most beautiful flower I have seen today. I think I will pick it and show him off, here in heaven. He was a beautiful flower, that cannot be forgotten.❤❤ I lost my dad, on New Years Eve, 1991. And I haven’t been able to celebrate the new years, since. 😢
