Round of applause for Amanda, who took one for the team by applying 20+ cream eyeshadows in one sitting, just so we don't waste our money on poor products.

for those looking for more definition or with deeper skin tones than Amanda's wanting a natural matte cream eyeshadow, i propose looking at concealer ranges. i use pat mcgrath's in d23 or something like that, a deep reddish brown. it wears way better on my hooded lids than a matte with or without primer. rimmel & ulta's shade ranges are abysmal, but there are work arounds!

@@AmandaZ I bought a LOT of cream shadows because of your videos 😂😍 but I wish there were more affordable ones (less than $10) and available in Europe 😅 I know it's a lot to ask P. S. I Tried recently the Barry M euphoric ones and not bad at all in comparison with CT. And a LOT more affordable. The CT are the tops so far for me but too expensive to be able to get all the colours I wish for 🤣😅

A) I love your intro music. B) I love when you do the closeups. You always look like you could be a model with your gamine look and beautiful skin. You have such delicate features and every time I watch your videos I think about how unique you are and sort of ethereal. :) Thanks for all the cream product videos. I’m just getting into them and have bought many of your suggestions. Just picked up the Ulta ones you always talk about as there was some sale plus $5 off so they ended up being three for $13! . Amazing!

P.S. I think at this point I’ve decluttered ALL of my glitter liquid eyeshadows with doe foot applicators. It could be user error 🙈🤣 but I’m talking the glitter ones…they are either too lip gloss like or dry if pigmented, in my experience).

The Morphe 2 Jelly Eye Shimmer pots are good, they are a gel formula and set for a long lasting finish, they are more of a topper but perform well and can be built up although I have only used them as a thin layer.

Skip the CT, they crease like there’s no tomorrow!
@stellafe8663 жыл бұрын
The key is a good primer! I use the Urban Decay original primer and set it with powder or a lighter eyeshadow. Afterwards you can use all of the cream shadows you want to use without creasing. You have to start with a little bit of product and build it up than. I personally have very oily eyelids and cannot even wear normal eyeshadow without primer. I use this combination of primer, light shadow and one of my favorite formulas is the Charlotte Tilbury. Ladies we cannot compare our eyes to those who’s eyes aren’t oily. If you want those things to work you have to help your eyelids a little bit. Work with your oily eyelids not against them :-)
@ZZgem3 жыл бұрын

the charlotte tilbury eyes to mesmerize… are probably one of my top three products, ever. they’re just a beautiful formula, comfortable and easy, i love that they’re a sheen, satin to metallic cream in a pot. i’m not a fan of liquid shadows, even more so i dislike cream/liquid shadows that are in a tube or have a doe foot application. i’d love to see more potted formulas. i strongly desire to try out the auric shadows, and have my eye on the phytosurgence ones as well. i’d own all the charlotte tilbury’s ones if i could and it wasn’t a waste. the ones i have are oyster pearl, copper sunrise, and walk of no shame. really want amber gold, and for rose sunset to return. purchased the pillow talk one for my mother for christmas as she only wears pink eyeshadow and on a daily basis, i hope she enjoys it as much as i do,

I wonder if the holika holika shadow is meant to be applied in a more "korean makeup" type way where it's not used all over the lid and more as a glitter topped pressed into the center and/or below the eyes, because korean shadows with chunkier glitters are usually used that way !
