I mix the Futuredew directly with my foundation and make it kind of a one-step-does-everything, and I like this method the best for me. It gives me full glass dew effect and blurs my pores in a way it doesn’t when I apply the FD first and foundation second.

Great video! You "influenced" me to give NYX High Glass a try 🌟, I did the curbside pick up at Ulta today because I was already planning to grab a new setting spray (Colourpop Pretty Fresh)... that NYX primer seems lovely on the top of my hand anyway! I just looked up the Glossier future dew, and it says to apply this after sunscreen, but seeing that it has so much oil in it, I’m afraid it would break down my sunscreen. Do you apply it before or after sunscreen?

I either use it as a moisturizer (or over a moisturizer) with sunscreen on top or I will let my sunscreen sink into my skin for 15 min and then apply over! The dew will shine through anything you put over it!

I am wishing my skin was drier now. It has changed from dry to more normal/oily in the last few months. My skin looks too glossy without any primers so not sure I will try these but still love your reviews.

Thanks for giving your thoughts on the cover fx primers. I’ll have to try the dewy skin one. Interestingly, Dr. Dray said that the gripping one is a good moisturizer based on reading the ingredients alone. She was doing an overview of the Ulta 21 days of beauty. I was thinking wait a minute, that stuff is not for everyone! It’s thick and sticky like lip gloss! I love it, though. I think it gives my skin a great shine. I wear it under Lancôme Skin Feels Good, and I mix in Kevin Aucoin Glass Glow Face, which is another one to try!

Ah yes! If I used that as a moisturizer my skin would be mad at me... but the dewy skin is refreshing! I liked the glass glow from KA pretty similar to the revolution but a little thinner!!

I really like the glossier future dew & the cover f/x dewy primer. I purchased the cover f/x primer during the Ulta sale, so it was 50% off. I tried the VDL primer in a sample and it had a scent that I didn’t like. Perhaps they have an unscented version.

I have the Linda Halberg infinity glass, which is a multiuse product that says it can be a primer, eye and lip gloss, and highlighter, but I mostly use it as a stay in place gloss. I wonder how you'd feel about it in terms of its multitasking properties!

Can you make a video on how to achieve dewy skin if you have a lot of skin texture. I've stopped wearing glittery highlighters to reduce the emphasis of the texture but it tends to look pretty bad

The #1 tip i would have is to apply one of these dewy primers under a more "airbrush" foundation. Airbrush foundations tend to be more matte- but if you use one of these more dewy foundations under it, your makeup will look fresher and dewier! I would specifically recommend something like the glossier future dew or the coverfx dewy skin for this look

The most true glass skin looking things Ive found are the Touch in Sol Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm, (ulta, $35- ish ) and the Maybelline Glass Spray I found at Target, which really surprised me that it worked, they weren't kidding.... And alot of products say glassy but really just give a dewy effect, these two are different, try them out and you'll see... Great recommendations, I was looking at the Laneige you mentioned the other day, might have to pick that up, thanks!! :)

I feel like the Revlon Rose Glow Primer looks and (based off your description) seems like a dupe for the Laneige Glowy Makeup Serum. On a side note, I completely agree about what you said about gripping primers, I was really interested in the MILK Makeup Hydro Grip, but when I looked at the ingredients I was pretty surprised to find that Alcohol was like the 3rd ingredient or something like that.

I will do both! Sometimes I just use future dew as a moisturizer and then put sunscreen over it (you still get a ton of dew) or I will use this over my sunscreen as a primer

I have tried sooooo hard to find reviews on them from other influencers but they will just smack it on their face and quickly either say i like it or I don’t like it without any explanation. hi 🙋‍♀️ I have a very dry dull skin and mature skin actually I’m over 40. I have tried supposedly radiant foundations dewy primers and I’m still not content 🤦🏼‍♀️ which one do u think is the most most glassy dewy ? the glossier future dew or the Revolution ? i’m not as worried about it gripping my foundation because I don’t have oily skin at all like not a drop of oil LOL and my foundation stays and I don’t wear heavy foundations anyway. I know there’s like a $10 difference but I don’t know both you said were very glassy so I’m a little confused . Futuredew is 🙌 superior. I mix one pump with the priming moisturizer and on days where I don’t put on complexion products I literally don’t even need highlight bc it’s so glowy all day. Definitely a favorite

hi! i have a graduation pictorial coming in two months, i wanna prep everything early so i could save up, from all of these primers used what is/are the most flash-friendly? was eye-ing on the futuredew, does pearlized primers cause flashback? what can you advice me for flashback makeup yt channels say to have matte products and stay away with spf and silica powders and concealers, but i also still want to get that dewy skin on the picture. so sorry for asking a lot, thanks I’m enjoying the vid! Do you have any issues applying these on top of mineral sunscreens? I'm currently using the I'm Pure Cica Suncream and it is not playing well with liquid products. I'm normally a brush girl but I'm even trying to use a damp sponge.

I myself really love the formulation and the instant glow that I get from Glossier's Futuredew but unfortunately, as I have dry skin which tends to become super oily in some time, my skin literally eats up the Future dew and it lasts for hardly 10-15 mins. Any suggestions on how to prolong the glossy/dewy effect of the Futuredew without making it over the top shiny?

hey sorry I am just seeing this!! I would recommend just using it in the areas you want a little more dew- tops of the cheek bones, bridge of the nose, etc. And use a beauty blender to massage it in!

Glossier description on their website does NOT say that it is a primer at all. Just a serum. I’m also surprised it says to apply it AFTER your SPF, when it should be before. SPF should always be last during the day.

Amanda Z Thanks! It definitely is a good combo on you! Its amazing how plumping it looks. I find that the L’Oreal Fresh Wear can look drying on my skin if I don’t mix it with my moisturizer. I have never tried putting a primer like Glossier’s underneath. Do you think the glossier primer made a huge difference to the finish of the foundation?
