Sorry man. But you saying that AI is going to take Computer Science jobs point blank was a nail in the coffin for your rapport. You don't have to go far, to see that AI is extremely limited at real world projects. I would even say it is complete trash. Don't be a hype rider, be a real one.

I don’t think you’ve used anything other than OpenAI’s gpt. Claude 3.5 is fucking amazing and there’s a new llm coming out almost every month now recently it’s synthesia 2.0. Im not saying we’re losing our jobs soon but I 100% can see myself having a son and him asking me “why do I need to know x when u can just use (insert LLM)”. Similar to my generation 2000’s where we’ve has Google our entire life meanwhile people in their 30’s use to go to libraries to get a fraction of our access to information. Schools forced you to memorize formulas thinking you will need that and now I can just be familiar with the concept and lookup the formula as needed. I think as a cs student like I am now you are hurting yourself if you don’t start getting use to using these llm and understand them well similar to early internet.

AI is transforming jobs because of how fast it is to generate snippets of code and the engineer using it making changes where they need to. Point blank companies can do more with less and no matter what you say, your not as fast and can’t compute as fast as the AI. That’s why a lot of companies are asking you to use CoPilot while you work. It’s only going to get worse. What makes you or any other engineer so special when the AI can do majority of what you do.

I mean most students going to CS are influnced by several reasons: family, Internet, salary, perfect work life balance? etc. Ask youself do you really like the theory of computation? Are you good with applied math? CS is not just programming. Not saying you need to like it, but to become a very good computer scientist you really need passion.

Computer science can also be applied to things like cybersecurity,It,ethical hacking

Hi everyone, I’m a 21-year-old who dropped out of high school but am now determined to start a university degree in Computer Science. I’m aware that I need to meet certain prerequisites, especially in precalculus, and I’m looking for advice on how to achieve this and navigate the process as a mature student. Here’s where I’m at: Current Situation: I’ve been self-studying precalculus using resources like Khan Academy, but I’m unsure if this will meet the requirements needed to enter a CS program. Next Steps: I need to know the best approach to demonstrate my precalculus skills and apply to a CS program. I would greatly appreciate any advice on: Proving My Proficiency: Will self-studying and passing tests be enough, or do I need formal qualifications? Application Process: What steps should I take as a mature student to apply to a CS program? Resources and Support: Are there specific resources or support systems for mature students that could help me? Thank you for any insights or tips you can provide!

Wow ive never been to your videos this early, bro, i love the interview you did with your brother. That motivated me to study and pass one of my summer classes. Will you ever make a video about getting a CS masters and whether or not name or ranking is as useful as their undergrad program.

I don't understand Why A.I progress is oriented towards replacing hard-working employees. Competent and skilled employees who are going to be laid off due to A.I is going to create a significant increase amount of unemployment which is gonna have negative effect on the economy, perhaps the rise of A.I is going to create more damage to overall economy than any good. If millions of people are laid off, cooperation's will loose customers. Perhaps we're entering an unpredictable and chaotic times.

Only programmers are affected, a very small percentage of people are programmers. It is a fraction of tertiary sector, there is primary and secondary sector has to collapse to see the so called chaotic times.

@@saravanabalajikProgrammers have one of the most difficult specialties and jobs in the world. Do you think they will be replaced and that they will remain (the people who answer questions in hospitals, police stations and giant companies and so on)All these jobs can be replaced by artificial intelligence in 2024. You do not understand what is happening. It is just a big change in the market. Companies want professional programmers, not programmers who have just graduated.
