@AmanManzir You definitely seem to be passionate and meant to be a Content Creator. Would it help for you to have a SW engineering project that you work on at your own pace for something you care about, not working for anyone or to make it a successful business. Because your business is the content creation and podcast, but this can be like the relaxing thing you do when u need a break (like u say in one of your videos how you switched from gaming to coding). Otherwise as time passes those coding skills will fade months will soon become years

Hi Aman, As I was getting ready to join our meeting for today, I saw that you published a new video and decided to give it a check. The way you feel about Ali Abdaal is the same way I feel towards you. I really respect you and have a great appreciation for the work you do and the talent you have. I wish you the best in this journey. I can see the passion you have for making content, and even though I am no one relevant, I can tell your channel is going to grow a lot soon. I am happy to be in some form part of this journey. You are truly an inspiration for us future software engineers. Thank you for being awesome.

i think you should commit to youtube for the next 1-2 years as you said. KZbin suggested your “Computer science is not software engineering” video to me, and i clicked because i genuinely thought theyre similar and im entering college next month (my first year of college) as a computer scientist. I was shocked by the values you were putting in the videos - with your general knowledge. Thats when i immediately subscribed and started looking forward to making more research about my career as well as watch your informative videos. My point is that im certainly not alone in this new route. Youll definitely attract more newbies to your channel. Good luck

This video does not have enough likes! I read the alchemist and thought the same, I stepped out of where I was, I was comfortable but there was soo much I wanted to experience, I knew I needed to challenge myself even if that meant to everybody else I was "stepping backwards". Life is too short to leave on auto pilot. It's totally ok to drop out of school, work, family and friends so u can explore where your ambitions can take you. :)

For me software engineering is amazing, although stressful and requires a lot of commitment outside of work. For me video editing is boring, and I can't talk in an interesting way. I would rather program. However I hate corporate environments, and I don't want the 9 to 5 lifestyle. So I am a startup programmer/freelancer in web3.
@The.Harsh.Truths7 ай бұрын
No Aman. The Shepard can go back to his job, but a software engineer will struggle to go back if he has a huge gap in his resume where he didn’t stay active and up to date as a dev. It is a high paying and competitive industry and the applicants who get the job, don’t take breaks.
