The Amapantsula Documentary on the Makhanda Elders Brotherhood Social Club competed in the ASUS VIVO Talent competition and was selected as a finalist entry.
The documentary showcases the crosscutting of IsiXhosa culture and contemporary fashion to encourage community development and combat issues around high rates of youth unemployment and Gender Based Violence in Makhanda, Eastern Cape.
Members of the Makhanda Elders Brotherhood Social Club pride themselves in mentoring, inspiring and teaching the male youth to embody positive ideas about contemporary African masculinity.
