Anyway, many old timers will know but this information is for the young people who are now watching: Director Manmohan Desai was away for some work when Amitabh Bachchan shot that solo scene in front of the mirror. When Desai returned and saw the rushes of that scene, he reportedly remarked that he is going to regret his whole life having missed "live" watching the scene, which, he was told Amitabh did in just one take. I watched this when I was a young kid. Even though we didn’t understand the language but still we knew what happened in the movie. I remember every single scene of it. The actors, the plot, the story. Everything in this movie is great and I understand why they never made a remake of it: there could never be a remake that could replace this.
