I believe Stoudemire could still give you 20 ppg. His situation in NY was just terrible, after melo came they just stopped giving him the ball. You would think that they would run a pick and roll with melo going to the basket leaving Amare open but they just gave melo the ball and all he did was iso iso iso

Wrong... Injuries stopped him.. Well Melo and Billups got there.. They made the playoffs he average 25 1 pt below the 26ppg when Melo 25ppg and Billups 16ppg. He was gonna get that anymore...plus That year his back when out against the Celtics plus he had additional knee surgery lockout shorten season. He was slowly breaking down. This always happens to big man Dunkers in year 11-12

Thanks for posting this. Amazing Amar'e! A great facial dunker that LJ can't do. A beast especially on his no. 32 SUNS Jersey. Great team up with Nash! A FOREVER Amar'e fan! :)

he can put yao, karl malone, duncan and robinson on the post and dunk on them. he was ferocious nd his poster o oowokandi is to me a top 10 dunks ever, man to man savage. unstoppable, and averaged great number for someone his size, to me hes a top 5 PF easily and deserved on a few occasions to be MVP

Great mix! However miss his putback @ Minny in 2005, where KG scored a then franchise-high 47,and his baseline dunk as a Knick in the PO's vs. the C's, on JO and KG I believe

Phoenix sure got a steal when they drafted Amare. Amare is only 35 now and says he wants to come back to the NBA. I don't think there are any teams interested, but I feel he could still contribute to a team for another 3 or 4 yrs.

+House Of Hoops his first year in NY... Melo came during the second half of it and they did work.. They work 2 games under .500. Billups and Melo helped him. They needed a guard bad.. Felton wasn't guarding shit.. After the trade.. They killed Miami in south beach and Amare had the game saving block.

@sonofaballer968 жыл бұрын
He was only good with the Suns and his first two years with NY. After that he was washed up. Howard doesn't even play the same position as him but at least Howard can rebound and defend better than him and he's stronger than Amare. Amare was good but there's better power forwards. He went down like a rock in a vacuum when he got injured and I'm not saying that because I hate him. He played for my Heats and he was just a shell of himself. I wish him success in his retirement and the future.

As much as I loved watching amare play when he was healthy. I wonder how good he'd be without Nash. Nash being a top 3 pick and roll passer of all time. And amare never really had a great back to teh basket game. He relied so heavily on Nash.

+Plague Doc Same thing was asked about The Mailman - Malone. It's just one of those things that we'll never know unfortunately
@toslow4thehoe9 жыл бұрын
+Plague Doc You could just as well make an argument about how many assists would've Nash have gotten and how good would've he looked if he didn't have the crazy athletic finisher with a mid range money game in Amare.
@Plague_Doc229 жыл бұрын
Ricards Augstkalns True, but I feel like the mailman was alot better of a player. his face up game was crazy and his strenght was unmatched.
@Plague_Doc229 жыл бұрын
Ricards Augstkalns Well a good passer will find and allow guys to get open. a good finisher relies on someone else setting him up.
@Agelastic_LuCi9 жыл бұрын
+Plague Doc Relied so heavily on Nash? In case you didn't know, he had his second highest scoring season with the Knicks - without Nash. That was before his injury.
