Amit Kumar was very unfortunate that when he came in the industry ha had to compete with Rafi sahab, Mukesh ji, Manna Dey sahab and obviously his great father Kishore Kumar ji. It was his great achievement that among all of the greats he could manage to make his own career. But Sanu came inside the void of Kishore Kumar and just coping him and oiling the Music directors he could manage to make a appearance. But this false popularity didn't exist a lot. After 5-6 years he started to lose his popularity. His nasal voice had ruined many songs. Till now there is a video in KZbin where Amit ji and Sanu both are singing another's song. Amit ji sings Kuch na Kaho, if you listen it carefully it seems like it's a pleasure to hear it in perfect male voice. On the other hand Sanu is singing Bade Achhe Lag te he, hearing it I have forgotten the original tune. Such a disgusting nasal tone it is. You can also realize it if have some good musical taste.
