@8:56 - exact point bro, Mukund Vardharajan is a Tamil Brahmin but in the film they showed him like some low class-north madras boy, becoz i have heard many north madras Tamilians calling their father as Naina, in the film SK is calling his father as Naina. Film director should have not done this kind of caste change to Vardharajan sir family.

If the film is a true story of the Major,why the director is shy o depicting him from brahmin middle class educated person. Then it will be more realistic. Always tamil moveies carycature brahmins,show him in poorlight. So perhaps for playing to the galleries,,reality is given a go by????

Brahmins have been projected negatively all these years inspite of their sacrifices and true nationalistic character. The film "soorarai potru" has been taken based on the story of a Brahmin guy "Gopinath" but the hero was not shown as a Brahmin. Again here, this film 'Amaran" is about the real hero Mukund Varadarajan. What stops the film industry to reveal his true identity in the film? Zoho owner Sridhar Vembu is a Brahmin doing great things for the youth of this nation. Then why the Brahmins have been negatively shown everywhere and the commoners have been made to develop a negative idea about Brahmins
